To help you enjoy shopping at Lepton Silk eShop, we have a Return & Refund Policy. This Return Policy is applicable to Lepton Silk eShop Online Purchase Orders ONLY and not for purchases at any physical store. If you do not like the products that you order, we are pleased to offer 7-day return or refund policy for items in their “Good Condition”.

Returns

We gladly accept returns for any Lepton Silk online purchased product(s) within 7 days of the date of receipt. Orders must be in “Good Condition”. Once we have received your return, your return will then be examined by our Quality Assurance team. Once inspection is complete, our customer service representative will either process your refund for returns, or assist you to place your replacement order for exchanges.

 “Good Condition” means that the merchandise is:

  • Still in its original packaging with all certificates, warranties, authenticity cards, original invoice and gift intact;
  • The item is found intact with original purchase condition.

Please note that some items cannot be returned due to their product nature. These ‘Excluded Items’ include:

  1. The following items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged : ① Items On Clearance, ②Underwear, ③Customized Items, ④Monogrammed Items.
  2. Merchandise invoiced as ‘non-refundable, non-exchangeable’.

Return or exchange of Excluded Items may be accepted at the discretion of Lepton Silk, such as in the case if you received the item damaged. Please contact Customer Service immediately should this occur.

Returns Procedure

Please observe the following procedure for all returns: 

1. Please contact our Customer Service in writing within 7 days from the date of receipt, stating your reason for return, the condition of the product, your order number and contact details. If you are returning your product because it is defective, please state the defect or defects.

2. One of our representatives will contact you within 48 hours to advise you of the procedure to return the goods. Please do not send any goods back until you have been contacted by us as we will not refund any postage expenses unless they have been previously agreed in writing.

3. Repackage the product in its original packaging, including any accessories, brochures, manuals, guarantees or warranties that came with the product. We will be unable to issue a refund where the product is in an incomplete state. 

4. Please mail the completed product(s), packaging and free gift (if applicable) to us as soon as possible. You may choose to mail your return to our office at your own cost and risk (including any shipping fee, taxes and duties) from the return. Should you have any enquiry, please contact our Customer Service to make the arrangements.

5. We recommend that all returns be sent by registered post, so that a record of the return is available for you.

6. If the product has been opened, used, or if the original packaging surrounding the product has been damaged or destroyed we will only issue a refund if the product is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us.

Note: Please make sure that you will return the package to our agreed return address. Or it will affect the processing of your return.

Refunds Procedure

1. Please kindly noted that the refund for the item will be based on the actual price you paid to us. The actual price will be affected by the discount or promotion, coupon code, LEPTON SILK points and so on you have applied at the time when you purchased.

2. We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us.

3. Where a return is lost or stolen in transit to us, you should claim compensation from the team that shipped the item.

4. Subject to the above, the price of the order would be refunded to original payment method within 3 to 5 business days of receipt of your item(s) or in the form of online credit. Refunds cannot be returned to alternate cards or different forms of payment. Please note that payment processing is beyond our control and it may take up to 7-10 additional business days for the funds to be credited to your account used during checkout.

Please pay attention to the following Refund Policy:

  • If the order comes with free premiums or gifts, they must also be returned. If they were not completely returned, extra 10% of order amount or the value of the premium or gift may be charged for customers.
  • The actual times of the refund are subject to availability on the vendor or bank concerned.
  • Non-refundable items: Please note that special handling fees and taxes or duties paid or payable by you at the time of purchase are non-refundable. However, you may be able to claim local taxes or customs charges back directly from your local customs office.
  • Return requests made outside of the 7 days policy will be accepted at the discretion of Lepton Silk.

Cancellation Rights

1. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within 7 working days of the date of receipt.

2. As stated above notification of cancellation must be in writing. As we do not record our calls, a telephone conversation is not a valid cancellation.

3. No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 once you have removed the product from its original package, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason.

4. Goods that are sealed or shrink-wrapped can only be returned if they are defective once this has been removed.

5. No right of cancellation exists for personalised goods, goods that are intimate in their nature or goods where there may be hygiene issues, unless defective.

6. To cancel your orders that have not been shipped out, please contact our customer service team.

7. Unfortunately, we CANNOT cancel orders which have been shipped out. Therefore, please wait for your package to arrive and you may either keep it or contact us to return for refund.
